The Sutton Orchestra is proud to announce that music students can now earn membership in TRI- M Music Honor Society, a nationally recognized Honor Society. Mrs. Colbert has started a chapter at Sutton. Selection is based on academic standing and excellence in music study.

DIXIE CLASSIC COMPETITION-MAY 2008

Congratulations to the Sutton Orchestra for achieving 2nd place rating at the Dixie Classic Festival this past May. Our Sutton students performed on the Grammy-Award winning Atlanta Symphony Orchestra’s stage.The orchestra performed 2 selections before a renowned panel of adjudicators including Mr. Elliott Del Borgo, a composer of many works that the Sutton orchestra performs as part of their repertoire
